Hello!

In User Manual and Code Guide on page 30 there is command
~/irstlm/bin/compile-lm --text news-commentary-v8.fr-en.lm.en.gz \
news-commentary-v8.fr-en.arpa.en

the switch --text requires parameter [yes|no]. In this case ? yes.
so the command should be
~/irstlm/bin/compile-lm --text yes news-commentary-v8.fr-en.lm.en.gz \
news-commentary-v8.fr-en.arpa.en

one of Moses' mert programs uses gcc-specific extension which doesn't work
with other compilers. Specifically, clang on OSX Mavericks
https://github.com/moses-smt/mosesdecoder/blob/master/mert/Fdstream.h

Does anyone have experience with
ext/stdio_filebuf.h
and can help me rewrite this? Would be much appreciated
