Hi everyone

I'm testing Moses Hiero on a parallel corpus. To minimize the tuning error,
I run MERT three times from flat weights. The bleu score for the first
tuning run, on the test dataset, is 15.5, while the bleu for the second and
third runs are 16.14 and 16.60.
I wonder if this significant difference is normal (1.10 in bleu)? and what's
the reason of this difference?

Regards

I was able to compile moses, thank you so much for your help., however when
i enter the command;
kalumera@kalumera-Satellite-C50-A534:~$ ./bjam
--with-boost=~/workspace/temp/boost_1_55_0 -j4

i get this error

bash: ./bjam: No such file or directory

how can i rectify this problem?

Christine

Hi,

you are issuing this command in the root directory (
kalumera@kalumera-Satellite-C50-A534:~$).

You have to compile Moses in the directory into which you cloned the Moses
git repository (by default called mosesdecoder).
