Hi,
The first (1) command below, if its not a typo error...
You have to copy the moses.ini file from ~/working/mert-work directory to the newly created binarised directory and then make the specified changes.
Another thing that I noticed in the output that you have copied is the path being shown for PhraseDictionaryBinary is :
/home/asad/SMT/SMT/working/binarised-model/......
I think its a typo here as the path mentioned for lexicalReordering is : /home/asad/SMT/working/binarised-model/....
Regards
Renu

Subject: [Moses-support] Error While Translating
Hi All,
I am developing SMT as according to MOSES manual. Currently I am at the testing phase and followed following steps:
1. I've copied the moses.ini file by using "cp" command to ~/working/mert-work/moses.ini
2. I've edit that moses.ini file using editor and changed the PhraseDictionaryMemory to PhraseDictionaryBinary
3. Changed the path of PhraseDictionary to the ~/working/binarised-model/pharse-table
4. Also changed the path of LexicalReordering to ~/working/binarised-model/reordering-table
5. After this I've tried to run moses using ~/mosesdecoder/bin/moses -f ~/working/binarised-model/moses.ini
6. In couple of seconds it came to stage where I've to enter the input sentence. So I enter the sentence from the manual "faire revenir les militants sur le terrain et convaincre que le vote est utile"
7. As I enter sentence and press enter it give me following error:
ERROR:bin ttable does not exist
Aborted (core dumped)
I don't know what is wrong. I've also attached the screen shot of it
Regards
Asad A.Malik

Hi all,
At EMS, I got the following error, in the end. The first 8 experiments ran
correctly. The difference in-between all experiments is only the change of
the train corpus. All remaining configurations of the experiment are the
same in each one. So what may be the cause of this error and why did it NOT
occur in the previous 8 experiments? Is it an error ,specific to the
corpus?
Just for info, for all 9 experiments I was using different subsets of
EnFrGW corpus
