We at Precision Translation Tools are about to launch an SMT package for
GNU/Linux and native Windows ? no Cygwin! ? including Moses, mgiza++,
and toolchains for tuning and translation. As far as we know nobody's
done this for Windows before, so we hope it will draw some attention.
That may mean more support requests on this list. We will try to shield
you from requests that wouldn't be appropriate here: we'll point users
to our own support forum and code repository, though of course we will
also reference upstream. We'll be on this list to respond to
portability questions. Feel free to ping us or direct users to us if
you see questions that don't really belong here.
So far we've been able to upstream all of our C++ changes. We hope to
continue doing that, in which case our repositories will simply lag
behind upstream without custom changes.
Finally, once the announcement is out, could somebody update our entry
on the Moses packages page at
http://www.statmt.org/moses/?n=Moses.Packages ?
Jeroen
