Hi all! I am working on a project for translating chavacano to english.
Chavacano is a spanish creole in the Philippines. It has been studied
mostly because of linguistic and historical-geographical perspectives.
Chavacano translations to English are based on Spanish and the results are
poor.

Chabacano de Zamboanga is a healthy language, forming both the main mother
tongue and the lingua franca of Zamboanga, the sixth largest city in the
Philippines, with more than 800,000 residents.
