We invite two types of submissions: 1. Research Papers (Call for Papers): Original research on machine translation, natural language processing, and multilingual AI, with a special emphasis on Asian languages. 2. Shared Task System Descriptions (Call for Participation): Evaluation tasks designed to benchmark state-of-the-art MT systems across various Asian language pairs and domains. * Topics of Interest (Call for Papers) We welcome high-quality research papers on all aspects of Machine Translation and Multilingual NLP, including but not limited to: ? Machine translation involving Asian languages (Neural MT, Large Language Model-based translation, etc.) ? Multilingual representation learning and cross-lingual transfer ? Low-resource and zero-shot machine translation ? Translation evaluation, metrics, and quality estimation ? Domain adaptation, speech translation, and multimodal translation ? Dictionary and parallel/comparable corpus construction * Shared Tasks (Call for Participation) WAT 2026 features a variety of shared tasks aimed at advancing MT technologies. Participants are invited to submit translation outputs for evaluation and present their system descriptions at the workshop.
