Dear Moses support,

Finally fixed the problem after many travails (although 3 tests still
fail in the bjam build):

My Macbook has had many progressive updates from Tiger right up to
Mavericks. I hada lot of legacy macports/brew stuff, which even though I
tried to reinstall, still did not resolve the situation.

For future reference the fix was:

port uninstall boost
port install boost +universal

This effectively rebuilt everything to do with boost on macports.

I now have a clean build, although 3 of the test fail. I do not know if
this is by design, or if this is significant. I have attached a zip of
the build.log file. Please could someone confirm that the test failures
are significant.

Thank you to Fethi for his help on rebuilding boost, although ultimately
I had to resort to macports, as even boost would not build from source
properly.
